How to set target allocations

Define the percentage of your portfolio you want each asset to represent.

What are target allocations?

A target allocation is the percentage of your total portfolio value you want a specific asset to represent. For example, setting BTC to 40% means you want Bitcoin to make up 40% of your portfolio at all times.

Using templates

Three preset templates are available to get you started quickly: Conservative — 60% USDC, 25% BTC, 15% ETH Focused on capital preservation with majority in stablecoin. Balanced — 40% BTC, 20% ETH, 10% SOL, 30% USDC A mix of growth assets and stablecoin buffer. Aggressive — 30% BTC, 35% ETH, 25% SOL, 10% USDC Maximum growth exposure with minimal stablecoin.

The 100% rule

Your targets must sum to exactly 100%. The editor shows the running total and warns you if you are over- or under-allocated. Assets you hold but haven't assigned a target to are shown with 0% target so you can decide whether to include them.

Saving and updating

Click Save Targets to persist your allocation plan. You can update targets at any time — the Drift Score and Trade List will recalculate immediately based on your new targets.
